Hammary products are available in the United States and Canada, as well as other countries. Hammary Furniture Company was started in October 1943 by Hamilton Louden Bruce. The name Hammary derived from Hamilton's name and his wife's name, Mary. Mr. Bruce leased a small space and hired two helpers to begin production of canvas lawn chairs. In late 1947, Mr. Bruce began manufacturing occasional tables, and the company expanded from there.
